Help Our Foundation Give Away $50,000
The Naugatuck Savings Bank Foundation is pleased to announce a Community Awards Program that allows our customers to decide how we award $50,000 to our local communities. Each year, the Naugatuck Savings Bank Foundation receives numerous requests from local charities and non-profit organizations to assist them in meeting their funding needs. As a leading corporate citizen, we believe it is our responsibility to help the communities we live in. Naugatuck Savings Bank values the opinions of our customers so our Foundation wants each customer to cast a vote for a local charity or non-profit organization they feel is deserving of grant money from our Foundation.
The Community Awards Program is open to each Naugatuck Savings Bank customer to cast one vote. Voting will take place from January 2 through March 31, 2013. You can click here to vote online now or obtain a paper ballot in any one of our branches.
The votes will be tabulated in April 2013 and the winners will receive a
proportional share of the $50,000 with the required 1% of total votes, with a
maximum award of $5,000. In addition, there will be a special award of $500
to 6 randomly selected eligible organizations that receive less than the required 1% of the votes.
