Basic Checking

We offer 3 ways to receive free checking. Our Basic Checking account is free from monthly service charges if you:

1. Maintain a daily minimum balance of $100 in your checking or $1,000 in a related savings account, or;
2. Are age 50 or older, or;
3. Are a college student age 21 or under

Preferred Checking With Interest

With Preferrred Checking you'll earn a competitive interest rate on any balance of $50 or more. There are no service charges when you maintain a minimum daily balance of $1,000 in your checking or $3,000 in a related savings account.

Easy Switch

When you sign up for any checking account at Naugatuck Savings Bank, you'll get a free "switch kit" to make it simple to close your old account and change all your automatic deposits and payments.
