Bill Pay & Popmoney®

Once you’re enrolled in our Online Banking, Bill Pay allows you to pay your bills electronically whenever it’s convenient for you – no need to write out checks, buy stamps or go to the Post Office.

  • Pay your bills and schedule recurring payments
  • Have your bills sent electronically to your Bill Pay box
  • Set reminders to track when bills are due
  • Transfer funds to other financial institutions

And through Popmoney, part of our Bill Pay, you can send and receive money quickly, easily and securely to family, friends, or anyone! All you need is the recipient’s email address or mobile phone number. Regardless of where they bank, the money goes directly from your checking account into their account usually within one business day. Look for the Popmoney tab within Bill Pay.

To enroll in Naugatuck Savings Bank’s Online Banking service

First, please fill out the Consent to Receive Electronic Disclosures. Then you will be taken through the following process to enroll in our Online Banking.

  • Complete the First Time User Information form entries as labeled.
    • SSN is 9 digits only, without dashes.
    • Account Number is 10 digits, including leading zeros.
    • Name is required in the event we need to contact you.
    • E-Mail Address should be where you want us to send any banking related messages.
    • Mother's maiden name is required to verify your identity.
    • Security Question is a question you need to designate on the form. We will ask you that question to verify your identity in the event you forget your password or are otherwise locked out of the Online Banking system. Examples are: pet's name, model of your first car, child’s middle name, favorite sports team, or any other question you choose.
    • Security Answer is the answer you provide for the Security Question you selected. The Security Question and Answer are required to enroll you into Online Banking.
  • Submit the form.
    • If an error message is returned, click on the back button under the message to return to the form. Review the information you entered, correct any errors and resubmit.
    • If you need assistance, print or write down the specific wording of the error and call us at 203.729.4442 or toll-free 877.729.4442.
  • You will receive your Access ID and your password separately in the mail in 3-5 business days. When you sign-on for the first time, you will be instructed to change your Access ID and password. You can only change your Access ID one time however, you can change your password at anytime.
    • Remember, your Access ID must be at least 6 characters of any combination of letters, numbers or special characters. An abbreviated name or nickname that is easy to remember is recommended.
    • Passwords must be 8-16 characters. Special characters such as punctuation marks (#, @, *, etc.) cannot be used in passwords. Passwords also cannot read the same backwards and forwards.
    • ID and Password are CASE SENSITIVE! Remember how you entered them here for future logins.
  • Submit the Access ID and Password changes. Your account list should appear on the next screen. Now you are ready to bank online.
